Do these games play exactly like the original arcade versions?

These are the real authentic arcade games. The same ones you played in the mall growing up.

Once I receive my game cabinet what do I need to do to get it setup?

All you need to do is plug it in, turn it on and your ready to start playing the pre-installed arcade games. We setup everything for you so all you have to do is start working on your high scores!

How many arcade games can the machine hold?

All game machines come with a 160gig hard drive. This is enough space for thousands of games and room for more in the future. Our system uses Windows XP as the operating system, so any Window games you find at your local computer store can be played on this sytem.

What kind of monitor do you use in the game machines? Do the games look crisp and sharp?

We use a high resolution 19 inch LCD monitor on the ClassiCade Cocktail, and a 22" wide LCD on the ClassiCade Upright, CrystalCade and Arcade Hits.
Since monitor technology has improved substantially in the recent years, the games look better than they did in the 80's! You will notice the games look sharper.

Why does the Classicade Cocktail have two joysticks on each vertical control box?

The joystick on the left is a 8 way joystick and the one in the middle is a 4 way joystick. This setup allows for the most versatility in all games. Arcade games that only have up, down, left and right movements (4 way) don't play as well on a joystick that is setup in 8 way mode.

Is there a coin door option?

We do not offer a coin door option on the cocktail. The game machines come with coin buttons. Pressing this button will add credits to the game.There is a coindoor option for the Upright system. Contact us for more info.

 

Do the games flip back and forth between players on the cocktail machine, like the original?

Yes, games flip back and forth, just like the original cocktail machines.

How easy is it to change between games on the cocktail machine?

There is a red exit button located by the player one control panel. Pushing this button will exit the current game and bring you back to the game menu. Using the joystick or wireless mouse you can select a different game. Pressing the green button located on the outside of the machine will start the next game. It's that easy!
